The Call To Rise Free

May we know this day to be like no other.

​

May we rise free this day from ignorance and shadows, and let reason deliver us from the darkness of falsehoods.

​

May we kneel before those who fought and suffered to free us from superstition and oppression, and those who fight and suffer still.

​

May we guard our freedoms through the knowledge we create, and have the courage and compassion for good deeds large and small.

​

May each child follow freedom and reason, and learn to protect both with dignity and strength.

​

May we pass this wisdom across time, and keep safe the enduring light on this day and all those to come.
